Therapeutic Approach

I believe that healing is possible. That therapy should be a space where you feel supported, empowered, and free to be your full self. My work is grounded in collaboration, authenticity, humor, and directness. I show up as myself in sessions, open and real, and I invite you to do the same.

My approach is trauma-informed and eclectic. I adapt to your needs rather than expecting you to fit a specific model. I often use EMDR, somatic work, and ego state therapy to support trauma healing. For building coping strategies, self-confidence, and communication skills, I draw from ACT, DBT, and CBT. These evidence-based practices provide structure, but I use them creatively and flexibly so they align with your personality and goals.

I often work with survivors of abuse or complex trauma. I also have experience working with neurodiverse clients, whether formally diagnosed or not. What they tend to value is the combination of safety, structure, and authenticity that we create together. My hope is that you leave therapy feeling grounded in your identity, confident in your ability to make meaningful change, and able to create purpose from your experiences.

I am LGBTQIA+ affirming and integrate a disability justice perspective into my work, while also recognizing the importance of biological and psychological factors. I strive to hold space for your full experience, including your body, mind, history, and environment.
